Ms. Rounds has over 15 years of revenue cycle management experience, and has been directing the day to day operations and client relations for AMRS since 2015. She is currently working on becoming black belt certified in Lean Six Sigma, and leads with a hands-on approach to the daily billing operations for medical practices and has developed proven strategies in the management of billing, personnel, and accounts receivable. Her out of the box thinking, problem solving skills and strong leadership skills are an asset to AMRS and any medical practice that wants to increase revenue, compliance and overall practice profitability and success.

Ms. Rounds has vast experience in many medical specialties including, but not limited to, primary care, neurology, ophthalmology, general surgery, hospitalists, pain management, orthopedics, spine, neurosurgery, urology, OBGYN, gynecologic oncology, gastroenterology, dermatology, pediatrics, physical therapy, behavioral health, psychiatry, chiropractic, and home health.

Ms. Rounds is instrumental in identifying and resolving revenue cycle management issues, and working with our clients to create increased efficiencies within the revenue cycle, and compliantly increasing overall revenue. She consistently focuses on creating, implementing and improving policies and procedures in an effort to get our clients paid faster, more accurately and reducing the overall days in AR. Her ability to streamline the revenue cycle process helps practices stabilize cash flow and reduce the overall cost of billing.

Heather Ely

Billing Manager

Ms. Ely has been in the medical billing field for over 12 years and has vast experience with full cycle medical billing. In 2007 she graduated with honors and received her certificate in medical billing and coding from Everest College. She was also an integral part of the student ambassadors program in which she participated in student mentoring and tutoring.

Ms. Ely has worked for AMRS since 2015, and was promoted to billing manager in 2017. As billing manager she oversees the full cycle billing operations for all AMRS clients. Her primary focus is quality assurance and quality control to help ensure providers and practices are paid timely and accurately. In addition, Ms. Ely is also responsible for delivering month end reporting and holding monthly billing meetings with AMRS clients, updating clients and staff with billing changes and trends, providing ongoing training for AMRS staff, assist in troubleshooting problems that arise, and managing the overall day to day billing operations at AMRS.

She has extensive medical billing experience in many specialties including, but not limited to, family practice, dermatology, gynecologic oncology, ENT, general surgery, urology, neurosurgery, neurology, OBGYN, PT, and podiatry, pulmonary and hospitalists.

Lisa Selby, CPC, CPB

Lead Billing and Collections Specialist

Ms. Selby has been working in the medical field for 22 years in a wide range of positions including billing, front office and back office. She has been with AMRS since 2016 and her knowledge of medical billing and coding has been a valuable addition to AMRS’ team of professional billers. As AMRS’ billing and collections lead she is able to help providers and practices maximize revenue by ensuring all unpaid claims are appropriately addressed including writing effective appeals and other correspondence to insurance companies. She understands the games insurances play with denials, and is focused and instrumental in getting every claim paid on behalf of our clients. Ms. Selby also helped many AMRS clients through the Heath First Colorado (Medicaid) portal transition in 2017.

Ms. Selby has vast coding and billing experience with many medical specialties including urology, rheumatology, pain management, OBGYN, neurosurgery, orthopedic spine, family practice, general surgery, gastroenterology and pulmonary and critical care. She earned an Associate’s degree in Medical Office Technology and Certificate in Medical Coding from Red Rocks Community College, graduating in 2015. She has been a Certified Professional Coder and Certified Professional Biller through the AAPC for four years and continues to study for future credentials to better assist AMRS clients.
